Two in court after police uncover over 250 cannabis plants at property in Salisbury Road in Dover

Two men will appear in court today after police discovered more than 250 cannabis plants at a property.

Officers were called to an address in Salisbury Road in Dover during the early hours of yesterday.

Using a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act, they uncovered more than 250 cannabis plants, at varying stages of maturity, inside.

Ermelind Gjobalaj, 20, and Danjel Shyti, 23, of Salisbury Road, have been charged with producing cannabis.

They have been remanded in custody to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court today.
