A fire crew has been called to a blaze at the Charlton Centre multi storey carpark in the High Street, Dover

Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in a multi storey car park off Dover's High Street.

A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman confirmed crews were called at 3.33pm.

A fire crew is at the scene

She said: "Four fire engines and a height vehicle are in attendance."

It was put out by 5pm.

A fire spokesman added: "The cause is not yet known and there are no reported injuries."

The car park is attached to the Charlton Centre, a small shopping centre off the High Street.

It is understood a car caught fire.
