Police appeal for information after man is hit by car in Melbourne Avenue, Dover

A man was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Dover.

The crash happened at around 2.30pm yesterday when a black Audi hit him in Melbourne Avenue, near the junction with Selkirk Road.

Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and the man was taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out inquiries and want to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who has dashcam or CCTV footage which may assist.
