Man pushed and kicked to ground in A20 underpass robbery in Dover

A man was pushed and kicked to the ground in an underpass after being approached from behind by three robbers.

The attack happened on Wednesday evening in a passageway beneath the A20 near Shakespeare Beach in Dover.

It was reported that fishing equipment and a mobile phone were stolen from the victim after the trio approached him from behind and made verbal demands.

Weapons were reportedly seen during the robbery.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident, which happened at about 7.30pm, and are appealing for witnesses.
