Neighbours of a grandad lined their street this afternoon - to wish him a happy 101st birthday.

Residents of Dickson Road in Dover came out in force to sing to a surprised Harold Reed.

Harold, who has now lived in the same street for more than a century, watched the performance from a chair outside his house.

He had a big smile on his face and thanked people who handed him cards.

One neighbour, June Murphy, said: "Harold is loved and respected by us all.

"I am honoured to know this guy. He has my greatest respect."
