The 21-year-old from County Durham, has shared her experiences of living with the condition since she was diagnosed in 2020.

The 13-year-old's mother, Emma Appleby, said: "We have been extremely lucky to get lots of support from local businesses and we have fairground rides bouncy castle, food stalls and demonstrations by local clubs including boxing, dance and majorettes."

Teagan suffers from a rare genetic condition called Idic15 and epilepsy can come as part of this.

She had as many as 300 seizures a day of varying severity.

But following changes in the law she has been allowed cannabis-derived medication, which has brought that down to less than 10 a day.

The fun day, organised by Emma, is from 11am to 4pm this Sunday at the Ratling Social Club, Ratling Road, Aylesham.
