17-year-old girl dies in Beaconsfield Avenue, Dover - treated as unexplained

The death of a 17-year-old girl is being treated as unexplained.

Police were called to Beaconsfield Avenue, Dover, just before 10pm on Saturday night.

Paramedics rushed to the scene in response to concerns for a girl's welfare.

She was taken to hospital where she later died.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 9.51pm on May 25 to reports of concern for a teenage girl at a property in Beaconsfield Avenue, Dover.

"Ambulance crews attended with police officers and a 17-year-old girl was taken to a local hospital where she later died.

"The girl’s death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
