Woman taken to hospital after being cut free from flipped car in Dover

A woman has been taken to hospital after her car flipped onto its side in a crash.

The incident involving two vehicles happened at the the junction of Ladywell and Maison Dieu Road, in Dover about 1pm.

Three fire engines attended the crash in Ladywell, Dover

Firefighters in three engines stabilised the vehicle before using electric tools to remove part of its roof.

They released the casualty, who was passed into the care of ambulance crews and taken to hospital as a precaution.

Police officers also attended the scene to assisted in the recovery of the vehicles.
