Man charged after woman injured in Dover attack

A man has been charged after a woman was left with multiple injuries following an early morning attack.

Nathan Hackney was arrested in Dover during the early hours of Wednesday, November 4.

The victim was taken to hospital with multiple injuries during the incident in Maison Dieu Road.

Hackney, of the same road, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage of a phone.

The 48-year-old appeared at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and was released on bail.

The case will next be heard at Margate Magistrates’ Court on February 12, 2021.
