Driver, 26, released from bail following Cobham collision in which Leanna Jane Culver died

A driver arrested after the passenger in his car died in a collision has been released from bail.

The 26-year-old was arrested after Leanna Jane Culver died in Henhurst Road, Cobham, near Gravesend, on Wednesday, March 15.

His bail ran out today and a police spokesman said this afternoon: "The 26-year-old has been released from bail pending further inquiries."

Miss Culver was a passenger in a blue Renault Clio being driven by the man.

The vehicle crashed into a telegraph pole at about 10.20pm and flipped onto its roof.

The 20-year-old woman died at the scene and family and friends left heartfelt floral tributes at the roadside.

The man suffered minor injuries.
