Two men still in custody after police called to firearms incident in Coldharbour Road, near Toby Carvery

Two men remain in custody following an alleged firearms incident near a Toby Carvery.

A 33-year-old from Hailsham and an 18-year-old from Croydon were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences in Northfleet last night.

Officers were called to Coldharbour Road after a member of the public reported they had seen a man with a gun in the car park.

It happened at around 5.20pm.

Police said they had no record of a cordon being set up by officers.

Inquiries are ongoing.
