A lorry driver is set to stand trial accused of killing a recovery worker on the M25.
Dariusz Mrozek, 42, is alleged to have driven his green Scania dangerously on the motorway before hitting 52-year-old Steven Godbold as he stood on the hard shoulder just before Junction 4 for Orpington while repairing a car last September.
Mr Godbold, of Chatham, but whose family live in Gravesend, died at the scene.
Mrozek, of Admirals Way, Gravesend, was arrested at the scene and later charged at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court having been summonsed by postal requisition.
His trial at Woolwich Crown Court is expected to last four days.
