One onlooker watched the violence unfold.

He said: "It looked like it was maybe two dads and two sons.

"There were punches flying everywhere, and loads of screaming and shouting from women.

"It was pretty dramatic."

Police were called to the junction of North Street and Mortimer Street after receiving reports of four people fighting.

A spokesman said: "Patrols attended and have spoken to a number of witnesses as part of their initial enquiries.

"There were no serious injuries reported and no arrests have yet been made."

Earlier this week KentOnline revealed how a mass brawl had broken out in another seaside town in the county.

The fight in Ramsgate was caught on camera and sparked claims the town has become "lawless".
