A former car showroom owned by the Marshall Motor Group has been sold.

The former Audi dealership in Bromley and a repair garage operated by the group in Beckenham, have both changed hands after the firm relocated to a new £7.2million combined facility in nearby Elmers End earlier this year.

Former sites in Beckenham and Bromley have now got new owners

Property agents SHW handled the sale of the showroom in Croydon Road to an unnamed investor who intends to lease the 10,681sq ft site to another car sales operator.

The repair garage in Tylney Road has been sold to Stephen James Automotive which operates a BMW dealership in Bromley.

Marshall Motor Group, one of the biggest car dealerships in the country, opened its new site in Elmers End after merging its Audi centres in Sydenham, Bromley and Beckenham following a "strategic review" of its Audi outlets in the South East.

David Marcelline, partner at SHW, says: "We are delighted to have concluded the sales to an owner-occupier and an investor, both of which will use the existing building and site layout going forward.

“The successful disposals have enabled Marshall Motor Group to move into its new, combined facility.”

Marshall Motor Group snapped up the Motorline dealership - headquartered in Canterbury and with showrooms across Kent - late last year, in a deal worth £64m.
