Many people aspire to own property one day.

However, very few aim or could get their hands on one of Kent's most pricey houses for sale.

Here is a list of eight of the most expensive properties in the county.

For £12.5 million you could get your hands on this Grade II-listed property with 171 acres and two gate lodges in West Street, Hunton.

You will keep discovering rooms to decorate you make your way around the eight bedrooms and five reception rooms.

A Grade II-listed mansion is waiting for you to discover in Twyssenden, Goudhurst.

As well as seven-bedrooms it has 258 acres of pasture and woodland, farm buildings and shoot lodge, four bath and shower rooms, and two en suites all for £6,950,000. Bargain!

This elegant Queen Anne-style property sits high among superb parkland in Penshurst, Tonbridge.

A five-bedroom property in Canterbury's Thorn Lane, Stelling Minnis, could be yours for £6 million.

This six-bedroom number in Bayleys Hill, Sevenoaks, will set you back £5,250,000 but you get six bathrooms, garden, seven reception rooms and 3.15 acres.

Meanwhile, anyone interested in a five-bedroom detached home in The Front, St Margarets Bay, Dover, is going to have to call Knight Frank estate agents for more details.
