Seven mile queues on the M20 after two car crash

There are seven-mile tailbacks on the M20 after a two-car crash.

Vehicles are queuing in both directions between Junction 8 of the A20 Ashford Road at Maidstone and Junction 9 for the A20 Fougeres Way, Ashford.

Cameras show traffic has now been now released coastbound with lane two remaining closed in each direction.

The incident is within the Operation Brock contraflow system which is designed keep traffic on the M20 and other roads in Kent moving.
