Kent weather: Snow warning for county

A three-day snow warning is in place for Kent.

While the area highlighted by the Met Office covers most of the eastern side of the UK, the county is among the most likely to see "disruptive" snow.

Cold air, along with snow showers are expected to push inland from the North Sea and spread south during the weekend.

Not all locations will see snow, with the showers likely to miss some places altogether.

In addition to the showers, there is a chance that an extended period of more persistent snowfall could impact parts of the Midlands and southeast England overnight Saturday and through Sunday.

Some places could see up to 15 cm of snow.

The Midlands and south-east England from later Saturday until the middle of Sunday.

The warning is in place from midday on Saturday until midnight on Monday.

A snow warning was in place last month, although predicted disruption didn't materialise.
