A few showers are also expected across the county which may lead to more widespread ice in the area.

Major routes across Kent are seeing serious problems leading to delays throughout the county today.

Crashes and emergency repairs have been causing issues on motorways, the railways and ferry routes across the Channel and 60-minute delays at the Dartford Crossing.

Snow has fallen across Kent this morning leaving parts of the county looking particularly festive.
