Maidstone: 16-year-old arrested after alleged flashing incidents released without charge

A 16-year-old boy arrested after a series of alleged flashing incidents around Maidstone has been released without charge.

In September two secondary schools issued warnings within the space of a week after an 11-year-old was flashed at on her way to school.

The incident happened close to the snooker club at the bottom of Buckland Hill.

The route is used by hundreds of youngsters to get between the town centre and secondary schools in Buckland Road - Maidstone Grammar School for Girls and the Maplesden Noakes School.

A year 7 pupil from Maidstone Grammar School for Girls was caught up in the incident prompting a police investigation and an increase in patrols around the area.

The reports came a week after details of similar incidents emerged.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested but police confirmed today he will not face any charges.
