Alfie Caparn named in 'murder' of Wesley Adyinka in Knightrider Street Maidstone

The fourth man accused of murdering Wesley Adyinka has been named as 18-year-old Alfie Caparn.

He had remained anonymous since his arrest for killing 37-year-old Adyinka in Maidstone in February.

But following an application on behalf of KentOnline, Judge Adele Williams lifted the legal restriction to name him.

Caparn of Streatham, south London will now go on trial in November together with Kevin Roach, 39, Rodney Harris, 38 and Julian Grant, who is 27.

All are accused of stabbing Mr Adyinka to death at his home.

He died near Chaucer House, a former office block in Knightrider Street.

The four men accused of Mr Adyinka's murder are all from London and Surrey.

They were remanded into custody.

Mr Adyinka was described by friends as a "godsend" who would "give you the shirt off his back if he needed to".
