Drugs worth £220k seized from car near M20 and A229 in Maidstone

A man has been charged with drug offences after police seized substances worth £220,000 from his car.

Sean Musgrove's vehicle was searched by officers in Maidstone, near the junction of the M20 and the A229, yesterday (Wednesday) at around 12.30am.

They found 22 kilos of amphetamine in the boot, 41 wraps of cocaine and £1,000 worth of cash.

The 30-year-old, from Tenterden, has been charged with possession of class A and B drugs as well as possession of criminal property.

He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates Court today.
