A man has been arrested after armed police were called to a house.

Officers received reports a man had been seen with a weapon in Bluebell Way, Allington, near Maidstone, at around 6.30pm yesterday.

Armed officers joined their colleagues and a man was arrested.

No weapon was recovered but police say their inquiries continue.
