A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car went into a building.

Residents in Willington Green in Maidstone heard a loud bang which turned out to be from a vehicle striking a parked car and a house.

The collision occurred at about 9.50pm on Friday night.

Police were called shortly after, and were aided by fire crews - who used lifting equipment to move the car.

No injuries were reported but one man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken into custody, police said.
