Drivers facing delays after car crashes into lamppost on A229 Linton Hill in Maidstone

A road has been closed after a car crashed into a lamppost in Maidstone.
The A229 Linton Hill is shut in both directions as a result of the crash, near The Bull Inn.
No one is reported to have been injured in the smash.
Police remain at the scene.
