Three catapults were seized by police from a group of 'lads' after a spate of reports of antisocial behaviour.

The weapons were found by officers on patrol in Maidstone town centre.

Officers tweeted to say they had stopped three 'lads' after being called about youths.

"Damage prevented and hopefully lessons learnt," said the tweet.
