A shop worker was assaulted at a service station in Maidstone and police have released CCTV of a man they would like to speak to.

The attack happened after a man forced open the main doors at the premises in Ashford Road at 12.05am on Tuesday, October 13, while staff were inside.

Police would like to identify this man

It's alleged he stole bottles of alcohol before assaulting a member of staff who intervened as he tried to leave.

A second suspect then entered but both men left empty-handed as the bottles were dropped on the floor.

Officers would like to identify the person pictured in the CCTV image as he may be able to help with their investigation.
