CCTV released after robbery at Corner Supermarket, Plains Avenue, Shepway, Maidstone

CCTV images have been released of a man who may have important information about a robbery in Maidstone.

A man carrying a knife went into Corner Supermarket in Plains Avenue in Shepway, at around 9.30pm on Tuesday night and stole cigarettes from behind the counter.

Police want to speak to this man

He attacked a customer and a member of staff, who both suffered injuries.

The customer, a man in his 50s, was treated at hospital for cuts and bruises on his face.

Following a number of enquiries including forensic examination at the scene, investigators are now releasing images of a man who may be able to help with their enquiries.
