Children looking to send their festive wish list to Santa Claus can visit a Post Train to guarantee they get their requests to him in time for Christmas.

The gold and white train has pulled into the platform at Jubilee Square Station in Maidstone town centre.

Staff from One Maidstone at Jubilee Square Station were joined by officers this morning

One Maidstone, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the town’s trading environment, has been busy liasing with the elves to organise the letter delivery service, sponsored by Ramblin' Man Fair.

It chugged into the County Town this morning and children can drop their lists into the post sacks from 10am to 4pm until November 18, before it sets off for the North Pole.

They will also get the chance to sit onboard.
