Shed and row of conifers caught fire in Fant, Maidstone

Fire crews were called to a shed and trees alight in a garden this morning.

The fire happened in the back garden of a home in Upper Fant Road, Maidstone, at just after 8am.

Fire crews used jets to put the blaze out

Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze in a shed and a row of conifers with hose reel jets, main jets and water from a hydrant.

The cause is not yet known and there were no reports of any injuries.
