Drivers are facing heavy traffic in Maidstone after a car overturned this afternoon.

Kent Highways say emergency services were called after the crash in Royal Engineers Road at around 4.30pm.

Traffic is said to be queuing in both directions on the A229 at the Springfield Roundabout, but drivers are able to pass the scene in one lane in each direction.
