Man stabbed in car park in James Whatman Way, Maidstone

A man is in hospital after being stabbed in a Maidstone car park this morning.

Two people have been arrested after the assault in James Whatman Way at 11.32am.

The victim's injuries are not deemed life threatening.

A spokesman for police said: "We were called to a car park in James Whatman Way, Maidstone at 11.32am following a report that a man had been assaulted.

"The victim suffered an injury consistent with a stab wound and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not deemed to be life threatening.

"Two people were stopped by police in the Shooters Hill area and have been arrested in connection with the incident. Inquiries are ongoing."
