A woman has won more than £4,000 in kmfm's new competition Cash Out.

From the start of the New Year, the radio station has been giving listeners the chance to call in and guess the exact amount of money to be won.

The amount to be won was between £100 and £5,000, and whoever guessed the exact amount – in pounds and pence – won the jackpot.

The game was played at 9.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 4.30pm and 6.30pm and started on January 4.

Anna Costello from Maidstone, was chosen at random while listening to kmfm Daytimes with Andy Walker today.

She had set up Whatsapp group with her sister Laura, and each evening they had been messaging each other with the amount they thought was the winning jackpot – which ended up being £4063.23.

When asked what she would spend the winnings on, she said: "The first thing I'd have to do is share it with my sister because we've been doing a bit of a joint effort to try and listen when the other person can't.

"I think it would be nice to put something towards a holiday. We've not been on holiday for a fair while so that would be good."

The competition has now finished.
