A car has overturned due to the icy conditions on the roads.

The incident took place in Maidstone this morning.

The driver was not injured.

The road remains blocked until the car is recovered.

Kent Police Specials said: "Currently dealing with a single vehicle rollover in Maidstone owing to the icy conditions. Thankfully no injuries to the driver.

"Currently awaiting recovery before we can get the road reopened again."

Police have been contacted for more information.
