Man suffers head injuries after being attacked in Bank Street bar in Maidstone town centre

Two men are reported to have struck another man over the head with a glass in a town centre bar.

Police say the attack took place at around 11pm at a venue in Bank Street in Maidstone and the man was also punched by his alleged assailants.

The victim - a man in his 40s - was left with head injuries and required hospital treatment following the incident on July 18.

CCTV images of man who may be able to assist with the investigation into the attack have now been released.

Police staff investigator Amanda Lissenden of Maidstone CID said: "We are releasing two images of a person who may be able to assist us with our inquiries.

"While they are slightly blurred, we are hoping somebody recognises the man and contacts us."
