Maidstone High Street to shut this weekend between Kent Reliance and British Heart Foundation Furniture & Electrical Store

Part of a town centre is to close this weekend.

A small stretch of Maidstone High Street will be shut to traffic on Sunday (November 19).

The road will be out-of-bounds from Kent Reliance to the British Heart Foundation’s Furniture and Electrical Store.

The closure is planned from 3am to 11am.

The alternative route for vehicles is via the A229 Bishops Way, Palace Avenue, Lower Stone Street, Romney Place, A249 Wat Tyler Way, King Street, High Street and vice versa.

Work is taking place to enable mobile crane works to be carried out by Chevron TM.
