Emergency services and forensics spotted at home in Hartnup Street, Maidstone

Forensic officers have been spotted at a home after a man was found injured.

Police were called by paramedics shortly before 10pm yesterday to an address in Hartnup Street, Maidstone.

The man's injuries are described as not life-threatening.

A police spokesman confirmed: "Officers attended and the man was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

"Subsequent inquiries suggest the man may have been assaulted and an investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing."

Neighbours said police had been there "all night" and have spotted forensics this morning.
