Sniffer dog finds cocaine and cannabis during search of house in Stockett Lane, East Farleigh

A police dog has helped officers find nearly two kilos of cocaine during a search of a property near Maidstone.

The drugs were recovered from Stockett Lane, East Farleigh after police executed a search warrant under The Misuse of Drugs Act.

The substances were found in outbuildings and a concealed in a hedgerow

Teams, including officers from the Maidstone Task Force, gained entry to the address during the early hours of Thursday.

They were assisted by drugs sniffer dog, PD Charlie.

He helped officers find substances, which also included large quantities of cannabis, concealed in outbuildings and hidden in a hedgerow.

Suspected cutting agents and cash were also seized.

A 58-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were detained in connection with drug supply offences and were later released, pending further investigation.
