Search still on for David Hunt missing from Maidstone

Police are still searching for a vulnerable man who has been missing since Friday morning.

David Hunt, 29, was last seen in the Lower Road area of Maidstone at around 8.45am.

Yesterday a police helicopter joined in the search and was seen circling over Mote Park.

The search has now moved to the Coxheath area.

Police issued a new photo of Mr Hunt today and a still from CCTV footage showing what he looked like yesterday.

He was wearing a black woollen hat, black hooded top, blue jeans and black trainers. Relatives say he left home without his phone, keys or wallet.

Since the photo was taken he has grown a beard.

Police Sgt Vicky Cooke said: "We are concerned for David's welfare and are asking anyone with information to contact us."

Mr Hunt is 5ft 8ins tall.

Anyone who sees him, or knows where he might be, should call Kent Police on 999 quoting reference 12-0426.
