Pair charged with supply of crack cocaine and heroin in Maidstone after arrests by County Lines drug squad

Two men have appeared in court charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin in Maidstone.

The pair were arrested by Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team at a business in Upper Stone Street on Monday.

The case will be heard at Maidstone Crown Court

The officers also seized mobile phones from living accommodation at the premises and at a town centre hotel room.

Damien Downs, 41, of Anson Road, London, and Richard Keltie, 49, of Kingsley Road, Maidstone, made their first appearance before Medway Magistrates’ Court yesterday where they were remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on February 8
