A van and a car have crashed on the London-bound M20 near Maidstone.

Lane one is closed and traffic is slow moving due to the accident between Junction 7 for the A249 at Detling Hill, and Junction 6 for the A229 at Blue Bell Hill.

Lane one remains closed as the vehicles have been moved to the hard shoulder from lanes three and four by Highways England traffic officers.

A reduced speed limit is in place while the accident is cleared.
