A Hunton resident has won £30k this week, playing People’s Postcode Lottery.

The lucky winner., who doesn't wish to be named, lives in Shingle Barn Lane and won after their postcode was pulled in the draw yesterday.

The lucky winner is now counting their cash

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson, said: “There’s few feelings better than waking up to the news that you’re £30k better off! A massive congratulations is due to our player from Hunton who has done just that.

“Thanks to players like this, we are continually able to support different charities and causes across the country, as well as surprising our players with some amazing cash prizes!”

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities. Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have helped raise more than £500 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

Among the recent beneficiaries is Age UK Maidstone who received £15,285 of funding.

The charity promotes the welfare of older residents of Maidstone and will use the funding to set up new projects to meet demand in the area. This includes a new bus service, friendship lunches for members and their volunteers, and a Monday coffee club.
