Woman in court over allegations she bit and kicked a police officer in Maidstone

A woman accused of biting and kicking a police officer in Maidstone is due in court.

It happened at around 5pm on Sunday after a police patrol was called to concerns for the welfare of a person in Sandling Road, Maidstone. March 7

An officer attended Staceys Street where a woman was seen to walk in front of moving vehicles.

As the constable tried to get her to return to the pavement, she was reportedly kicked and bitten. The woman was arrested and taken into custody.

Timea Orban of Barton Road, Maidstone was later charged with assaulting an emergency worker by beating.

Ms Orban, 31, was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court. 9
