Motorists on the M25 clockwise carriageway in Kent can expect delays this morning after an earlier crash.

All the lanes have re-opened, but the incident that occurred near J5 for the M26/A21 (Sevenoaks) caused congestion on the M25 back to J3 for the M20, Swanley Interchange, and also a five-mile queue along the M26.

All lanes have been re-opened, but highway authorities are warning that travel times are taking an extra 35 minutes as the queues clear.

The situation is not helped by roadworks already in place just after J5.
