Van overturns in crash on M20 near junction 4 for Leybourne

A van was left on its side after an accident on the M20 near West Malling this morning.
The Ford Transit lost a wheel and shed its load of ladders on the London-bound carriageway .
The stretch between the Leybourne/West Malling turn-off Junction 4 and the Aylesford interchange at Junction 5 was reduced to two lanes with a 40mph speed limit imposed.
The accident happened at 10.20am.
The van is believed by police to have struck the central reservation before rolling over. No other vehicles were involved.

There are fortunately no serious injuries.
