Police helicopter called to Medway City Estate after reports of vehicle theft

Four men have been arrested following reports a car had been stolen on the Medway City Estate.

A police helicopter was deployed to the industrial and trade park in Strood yesterday around 9am.

A police helicopter was spotted circling over the Medway City Estate.

Officers attended an address and four men were arrested on suspicion of theft.

They included a 26-year-old from Greenhithe, a 28-year-old from Rochester, a 29-year-old from Gillingham and a 36-year-old from Bromley.

All were taken into custody before being released pending further enquiries.
