Traffic queuing to M2 at Chatham amid water works on A228, Halling

Water works on the A228 are causing tailbacks to the M2 near Chatham.

South East Water is carrying out repairs to a burst water main on the southbound road, at Halling.

Traffic is queuing on the southbound carriageway, and is tailing back to Junction 2 of the M2.

Temporary traffic lights have been set up around the water works.

The work is expected to last until tomorrow.
