Man cut free from car following four car crash in Dunton Green

A man has been cut free from his car after a four-car crash in Dunton Green.

Emergency services were called to London Road just before 5.30pm yesterday.

The incident closed the road in both directions between the Pilgrims Way West junction and the A224 London Road junction.

Firefighters worked to release an adult male who became trapped in his vehicle by his injuries.

The police attended the scene and a man was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

The extent of his injuries is unknown.

The road closure caused significant delays for motorists.
