A man who was found dead in Knole Park has been named.

In a tribute posted on the company's page staff wrote: "Our Greenspace team today planted a tree in memory of Carl Barnett, who sadly passed away earlier this month, at the young age of 41.

"Although Carl had only been with us for 2 months he was a keen worker and had become a much loved part of the Greenspace team.

"Our thoughts go out to Carl’s family and friends."

Mr Barnett also worked for Edenbridge Town Council's gardening department for 11 years before moving away.

An inquest into his death opened at Gravesend Town Hall on May 13. It is due to reopen on August 11.
