Long queues on A249 Sheppey Crossing and around Sittingbourne after lorry breaks down

Drivers are facing miles of queues after a lorry breaks down on a major road.
Sheppey Way, Ferry Road and Old Ferry Road are all congested due to the lorry on the A249 Sheppey Crossing Northbound.

All lanes have now reopened, but delays are still expected.
Queues are currently stretching back to Bobbing, Sittingbourne.
Other roads stemming from the A249 are also gridlocked, including the A2 through Bapchild.
