Two-car crash in Broad Street, Sheerness

Street signs were demolished in a two-car crash this morning.

The vehicles were in collision at the junction with New Road, Hope Street and Broad Street, Sheerness just before 7am.

A police spokesman said: "There were no serious injuries reported but the road was obstructed by debris."

Officers had left the scene by around 9.25am.

A sign for New Road Industrial Estate and a road sign for Hope Street were destroyed by the impact.
